Why did you choose Holly Douglas Boudoir for your session?
After doing my research Holly was the only one that I really felt like she knew what she was doing.
What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I have always had issues with my body and feeling comfortable in my skin. I wanted to do something totally different for me.
Were you nervous about the shoot beforehand? If so, what were you most nervous about?
I was nervous. I guess just about getting my picture taken in general.
Did you become more comfortable after the session started? If so, what helped to relax your nerves?
Yes! Holly was so great in helping me feel comfortable and enjoy myself.
What was your favorite part of the experience and why?
The whole thing was my favorite. From beginning to end Holly was amazing at helping me relax and enjoy myself.
How did you feel during your session?
I felt great!
Describe how you felt when you saw your images for the first time.
Looking at the pictures at the end was amazing. I knew they would come out great but holy cow! I couldn’t believe it was even me in some of them.
How has your relationship with your body changed since your session?
It’s on the uptick now. I don’t feel uncomfortable in my skin and I’m learning to really just love the body I’ve been given.
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Do it! I was shy, nervous, all the things and it was the perfect thing to help me and I bet it would help you too!
