Miss M’s Boudoir Testimonial
Celebrating Sobriety
We at Holly Douglas & Co. believe that EVERY woman should experience a boudoir photoshoot at least once in her lifetime. We love empowering women and boosting their self-confidence through the art of boudoir photography! Of course, people expect to hear that from us, the boudoir photographers, because we do this for a living. Boudoir testimonials written by our past clients who have actually experienced a boudoir session, on the other hand, are the most convincing! For this reason, Holly Douglas & Co. proudly features a new boudoir experience testimonial blog each week.
This week's boudoir experience testimonial comes from the gorgeous Miss M., who was photographed at our luxury boudoir studio in downtown Nashville, Tennessee!
Tell us about yourself?
Age 48 - divorced 1 year - 2 children — 12 year old son and 6 year old daughter - the absolute loves of my life. Nurse practitioner who loves her job— Following a devastating romantic break up and my mom’s death from bone cancer in Oct., my life—- alcohol use that was once occasional, increased- depression set in and poor self worth evolved. With that being said, at the shoot I was celebrating 80 days of sobriety !! I did the shoot for self esteem and self celebration from my freedom from alcohol and I hope to look back at the photos as a reminder of how well my life has improved both mentally and physically. In spare time, I love to work out - cook and read.
How did you hear about Holly Douglas Boudoir?
Why did you choose Holly Douglas Boudoir for your session?
She’s awesome ! I thought she was from the prior ads and reviews. The ladies are beautiful and I was hoping she could do the same for me. I really, really needed it.
What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
See above ——- I am slowly realizing my worth and never to settle -
Were you nervous about the shoot beforehand? If so, what were you most nervous about?
Yes I was nervous - pretty much just stripping down in front of a stranger.
Did you become more comfortable after the session started? If so, what helped to relax your nerves?
I did - Holly helped so much and that I actually did more nudity than I ever, ever expected I would. Can’t believe I did actually.
What was your favorite part of the experience and why?
Honestly, just seeing the magic when I reviewed the photos.
How did you feel during your session?
Awkward due to poses - lol ! Not quite as flexible as I once was - good reminder I need to work on this.
Describe how you felt when you saw your images for the first time.
Blown away !
How has your relationship with your body changed since your session?
Maybe it has —— still not so sure at this point about showing them off but we did go through them quickly-
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Others have said and I will too —- if I can do it then anyone can.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I want to do it again 😂
Thank you so much for this boudoir experience testimonial, Miss M.!
