How did you hear about Holly Douglas Boudoir?
Why did you choose Holly Douglas Boudoir for your session?
Divorced after 23 yrs of being in a narcissistic relationship, leaving me feeling less of myself and injuries with scars inside and out. I started a new life in Gallatin, went though counseling for 1 yr, and started working on who I wanted to become. Holly Douglas Boudoir was just the ticket!!!
What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I deserve to feel and look beautiful now. After being told how unattractive and heavy I was for so long, you start to believe it. I took the leap for me!!
Were you nervous about the shoot beforehand? If so, what were you most nervous about?
Anytime someone faces a new “unknown experience“ it makes anyone a little nervous. Expectations of my own always make me nervous too!
Did you become more comfortable after the session started? If so, what helped to relax your nerves?
Absolutely! Both Holly & Elisabeth are positive, upbeat, and made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door.
What was your favorite part of the experience and why?
Holly & Elisabeth both believed in me. When I spoke of something that I was worried about or concerned with, they both worked through the situation. It was wonderful. (The lingerie fitting is what I was concerned with.)
How did you feel during your session?
Glamourous. I was doing this for me. Hard work and prep prior paid off!
Describe how you felt when you saw your images for the first time.
Surprised and amazed that “heavy and unattractive “ was not what I saw! Of course the not so pretty areas can always be fixed ;) and just something I know I need to work on .
How has your relationship with your body changed since your session?
I continue to work at the gym with a trainer and eating. My health is so important.
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
If I could do it, anyone could. Physical challenges, mental challenges …. Absolutely anyone could. Definitely a self-image changer!

Very professional and fun. It's all in the details. An I-would-do-it-again experience!
